Berlvis Tools.

Berlvis Tools is a browser-based utility platform created to make everyday PDF and image tasks simpler, faster, and more private. Many online file tools surround basic actions with advertisements, forced registrations, confusing interfaces, and unclear data-handling practices. I designed Berlvis Tools around a different principle: users should be able to open a tool, understand what it does, complete the task, and leave. The platform provides focused utilities for working with documents and images, with clear input, processing, error, and download states. Where possible, files are processed directly within the user’s browser, reducing unnecessary transfers and helping users maintain control over their documents. I focused on practical interaction design, responsive performance, accessibility, file validation, useful feedback, and graceful handling of unsupported or failed operations. Berlvis Tools demonstrates my ability to identify a common digital frustration and turn it into a straightforward product with thoughtful privacy, performance, and user-experience decisions.
